Nick Jonas, whose name appeared last month as one of the wanted judges for American Idol, said he is indeed being considered to replace Steven Tyler who quit after two seasons.
"The rumors are true," Nick tweeted on Saturday, August 4. "I am being considered to be a judge on American Idol. And it would be a dream come true if it happens. #nickonidol."
The 19-year-old singer was reportedly flown to Los Angeles for a meeting in July and was very close to signing a deal. If the talks went through, then Nick will be sitting next to Mariah Carey who has struck the deal. Beside Nick, Pharrell Williams is also a contender to join the panel.
